Emma Watson Offered Role of Beauty & The Beast

Actress Emma Watson became the target of director Guillermo del Toro to play a role in the film adaptation of the classic fairy tale "Beauty and The Beast". Watson regarded as being perfect for the role of Belle.

Del Toro, who also directed the film "Pan Labyrinth" and "Kung Fu Panda 2", says Watson is perfect for the new movie. Variety magazine reports that the star of "Harry Potter" is about to confirm the answer to that role.

Ever since Harry Potter, Watson participated in several films including "My Week with Marilyn", "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" which will release year-end and "Your Voice In My Head" landing David Yates.

Beauty and the Beast tells the story of a young girl who tried to save her father's merchant of death. For that, she must be willing to be the mistress of a luxurious palace inhabited by a mix of humans and animals.

This classic tale has been raised at various film adaptations, including Jean Cocteau produced in 1946 by Josette Day as Beauty. There are also animated film made ​​by Disney in 1993.

Beauty and the Beast is scheduled for release in 2014. However, details of prospective players who will act as the Beast is not yet known.
