The cause of death of Whitney Houston Revealed

Whitney Houston causes of death began to unfold gradually. The family denied that the 48-year-old singer died due to drowning in a bathtub. Based on current information, Houston actually died from consuming tranquilizer, Xanax mixed with other prescription drugs and alcohol.

As quoted by the website TMZ, Houston family was told by the examiner LA County officials about the cause of death of the legendary singer.

"We have told the family, there is not enough water in the lungs of Whitney to lead to the conclusion that he drowned. Families may also have been told, Whitney may have died before his head submerged," the source said.

A source also told TMZ that a relative of Whitney Houston, Mary Jones, who found Houston's body in the bathtub.

Mary was the middle of Houston set the dress on the bed. And for about half an hour, when Houston did not get out of the bathroom, Mary went in and tried to pull it out of the tub and began giving CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation). This action is an emergency procedure performed to restore spontaneous circulation and smooth breathing.

The latest news also mentioned, the family plans to fly the body of Houston to Atlanta on Tuesday morning, February 14, 2012.

"The family has arranged for the singer's body was flown back to Atlanta tomorrow," said another source.
