Cloud Atlas is a collection of various tales spanning time from the 1850s to a post apocalyptic future. The story is based on a 2004 novel by David Mitchell. Cloud Atlas will be directed by the Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer. All three are collaborating on the screenplay as well.
As of now, it appears that Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, and possibly Natalie Portman will be in the film. In the film, Berry's role as Luisa Rey, a journalist who investigates reports of corruption and murder at a nuclear power plant. Other notable stars who took part in the film include Tom Hanks, Susan Sarandon, Hugo Weaving and Hugh Grant.
Wide-screen film, starring 45-year-old actress was adapted from a novel by David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas titled. The film contains six different pieces of the story of the 19th century until the post-apocalyptic future.
The first story is during 1850. It is the tale of a man on his way home from the Chatham Islands. The second story is in 1931 and is about a poor Englishman living in Belgium, working for a composer. The third tale is in 1975, and follows a journalist in California. The fourth story is in roughly present day and follows a publisher who is running from the mob. The fifth story is in the future and it is about a robot working at a fast food restaurant. The sixth and final story is set in Hawaii after an apocalyptic event takes place and follows one of the last remaining people alive
Actress Halle Berry suffered diving incidents while filming her latest film in Spain, on Thursday (23/09/2011). Because of the accident, Berry suffered a broken leg and immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
In a state-foot in a cast and wheelchair, she still attempted to undergo filming as usual. The plan, the director would only take a picture from the waist down to the Berry's head while he was undergoing the recovery period.
Runner-up Miss USA 1986 that also did not want the process of filming is disrupted because of an injury he experienced. Film production team has also prepared two stuntmen. Similarly, reported by TMZ, Friday (09/23/2011).
