Rachel Emily Nichols was born January 8, 1980 in Augusta, Maine, to Jim, a schoolteacher,and Alison Nichols. Nichols' first starring film role was in the horror–thriller P2 (2007). She had a supporting role in the coming-of-age film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants2 (2008) and appeared in Star Trek (2009). She starred as Shana "Scarlett" O'Hara in the action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009) and will star in the upcoming sword and sorcery film Conan the Barbarian (2011).
Conan the Barbarian (previously titled Conan 3D) is an upcoming 3-D sword and sorcery film based on the character Conan the Barbarian created by Robert E. Howard. The film is a new interpretation of the Conan mythology, and is not related to the films featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger. It stars Jason Momoa in the titular role, alongside Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang, Ron Perlman, Bob Sapp and with Marcus Nispel directing
Rachel Nichols is looking very bikini worthy in the current August 2011 issue of Maxim Magazine.
Nichols talked about how the physical training she’s done with her roles in this movie and others like G.I. JOE have started getting her stereotyped. “It’s been established that I can do action, which is great, but now I may just want to make out with a really hot guy.“
Rachel plays the character of Tamara in the new ” Conan the Barbarian ” barbarian film due out in theaters in this August. Something tells me that she’s going to look great in a buffalo skin mini-skirt carrying a sword.
The tale of Conan the Cimmerian and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria on a quest to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village.
Conan the Barbarian will be first released in France, Belgium and the Philippines on August 17, 2011 and then in Australia and Italy (August 18), USA, Canada and Spain (August 19), Switzerland (August 21) and the United Kingdom (August 26).
